 BAKWERI (Tribu)
Fako division, home of the Bakweri, is located in the Southwest Province of the Republic of Cameroon. Its divisional boundaries stretch from the Lower Mungo river estuary to the East, to the Southeastern and eastern axis of Mount Fako, passing through the Tiko creeks and the coast of Ngeme. Fako division, which was known as Victoria division during the British colonial era, is dominated by the towering Fako mountain (also known as Mount Cameroon), the highest peak in West Africa.
